H060 - Human Influence on the Regional/Natural Hydroclimate and Environmental Systems

 Dear colleagues,

We would like to invite you to submit an abstract to our AGU Fall 2021 Session:  "H060 - Human Influence on the Regional/Natural Hydroclimate and Environmental Systems".  We are hopeful that all authors are awarded oral presentations but it is likely that some presentations may be poster only.  The conference will take place in New Orleans, LA between December 13th and 17th, 2021. You can choose to attend on-site or virtually.

Our session aims to highlight research related to human impacts on the hydrology system.  Listed below are just some examples, but not limited to, of research topics that we’d like to have presented :

1.       Assessment of hydroclimate shifts due to global climate change and human impacts.

2.       Effects of water management and economic activities on regional systems.

3.       Watershed-scale ecological impacts on water quantity and/or quality from human activities.

4.       Evaluation of urbanization effects on eco-hydrological processes.

5.       Advances in data synthesis, low-dimensional frameworks, coupled human and natural systems modeling, plus other innovative methods.

Once presentation formats are awarded authors will be given presentation guidelines and formats.  At this time we expect oral presentations to be approximately 12-15 minutes in length.

If you are interested, please submit your application before Wednesday, 4 August 2021 at 23:59 EDT using the link: https://agu.confex.com/agu/fm21/prelim.cgi/Session/124707
